Prayers and thoughts with all of you.

I knew Barbara through business for many years. She was hardworking, smart, and very connected to her the magazine publishers. You could pick up the phone and call her and she always knew what was going on. I say this because often the people that love you best and are closest to you don't know what you are like in a professional setting, and Barbara was amazing.

I loved her curiosity, her sense of adventure, her playfulness, and her devotion to her family. For as hard as she worked (and she worked very, very hard), you also knew how important her family was to her. I'm so happy that she was able to go on her adventures right up to the end.

We will miss her. From the Old Farmer's Almanac, Discovery Girls, New York Review of Books, and Guitar Player and Guitar World magazines
